Dr. Naret Suyaroj, TTHER Project Researcher, participates in Erasmus+ Chef MetaLab Project Meeting in France

Dr. Naret Suyaroj, Research Fellow at Edinburgh Napier University, United Kingdom, and Lecturer at the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, participated in the 2nd Face-to-Face Meeting of the Erasmus+ Chef MetaLab Project: International Culinary Education Alliance via Metaverse Immersive Training, held during 20–23 May 2026 in Lyon-Ecully, France.

Hosted by Institut Lyfe, Campus Gérard Pélisson, the meeting brought together partner institutions including Institut Lyfe (France), International Hellenic University (Greece), Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (Portugal), Chengdu University (Mainland China), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong, China), and Chiang Mai University (Thailand).

Chef MetaLab is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in Higher Education project, co-funded by the European Union, which aims to develop innovative approaches to culinary education through the integration of Metaverse technologies, immersive learning environments, cultural heritage, and international collaboration.

During the meeting, partner institutions reviewed project progress, discussed future directions, and shared experiences related to Metaverse-based learning environments and innovative educational practices. The ICDI-CMU team contributed by presenting the Design Requirements framework to support the next phase of project development.

Participation in the meeting provided valuable opportunities to strengthen collaboration among partner institutions and expand international academic networks, supporting future knowledge exchange and collaborative research between Europe and Asia.
